Born and raised in the Waikato, I couldn’t have pictured a better place to establish myself. I have lived here in Te Awamutu with my husband Brendon for close to 9 years. We have two cute dogs named Oddie and Bean, who I am sure you will meet at some stage because they like to come say Gidday every now and then.
I did most of my schooling in Cambridge and when I decided to start my career within the hair industry, I decided Wintec would be the best fit for me. I enjoyed study, having gone to university before I found what I was truly passionate about. I started working part-time in a salon in Cambridge. I worked there until I decided to open my own salon at home. I worked alongside some amazing stylists and I learnt so much from them which helped mold me into the stylist I am today.
I love all aspects of colouring and cutting. Anyone who knows me, knows I am always keen to attend the latest hair workshops and watch the latest hair videos.
I do offer keratin smoothing treatments as an in-salon service and I have done a lot of experimenting and research to try find a product I am 100% confident with.
When describing myself, I don’t see myself a “Master Stylist”, because to me a Master has nothing left to learn and the hair industry is forever changing so therefore, stylists are forever learning!
